TRIA cooperates with teaching and training institutions

Confirming the motto “Educate for safety”, TRIA liaised with some pedagogical initiatives led by several teaching institutions.

Recently, TRIA has provided the training activities room of the APSEI with real samples of Passive Fire Protection systems in buildings. These systems can be observed and analysed in this Association at the moment, either in a training context or in a technical visit.

This action results from a similar initiative with the National Firemen School where the rooms of Sintra Training Centre (head Office) and São João da Madeira Training Centre were provided with models of fire doors and other compartment systems.

TRIA commits to give its target public a clarification, as its initiatives also extend to higher education institutions in the areas of architecture and engineering, with conferences and clarification sessions about PFP in institutions such as FEUP, IPV, UBI, FEUC, FCTUC, among others.

The cooperation with the teaching institutions in the areas of architecture and engineering that interact with fire safety in buildings is an initiative that TRIA wants to maintain, contributing thus for a more enlightened market and for the promotion of Passive Fire Protection in buildings.
